Hi, everyone! I’m Masa from Japan2U!!
Ordering food in foreign countries is always a heart beating moment.
“Can I order well?” “What if I order the wrong food?” When I went to the United States for the first time, I was nervous about ordering some food at the restaurants.

I went to a burger shop and ordered a burger. The cashier asked me something, and I just kept saying yes to every question because I could not catch up with what he said. His face was like, “Are you serious?”. Seeing his face, I realized that I had made some mistakes.
Finally, I got the burger that had only bread and patty!! The burger was supposed to have some vegetables and cheese…
You don’t want to make the same mistake.
On this page, you can learn how to order in Japanese and answer some simple questions that the cashiers or servers will ask you.
