How do you say “Social Media” in Japanese?
Social media = SNS(エスエヌエス)、ソーシャルメディア
SNS(エスエヌエス) is the most popular way to say social media.
SNS(エスエヌエス) stands for “Social Networking Service.”
Japanese people do not often say ソーシャルメディア. Some people won’t understand the meaning if you say ソーシャルメディア.
SNS(エスエヌエス) includes Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LINE, and etc.
