How do you say “I had my hair cut” in Japanese.

髪(かみ) = hair
切(き)る = cut

切(き)りました is the formal and past tense.
切(き)った is the casual and past tense.

A：髪(かみ)切(き)ったよ
B：似合(にあ)ってるね！

A：I had my hair cut.
B：It looks good on you.

A：髪(かみ)切(き)りたいな〜。
B：いい美容院(びよういん)知(し)ってるよ！

A：I want to have my haircut.
B：I know a good hair salon.

A：髪(かみ)切(き)りました！
B：似合(にあ)っていますね！

A：I had my hair cut.
B：It looks good on you.

A：髪(かみ)切(き)りたいです。
B：いい美容院(びよういん)知(し)ってますよ！

A：I want to have my haircut.
B：I know a good hair salon.

Hair salon = 美容院(びよういん) or 散髪(さんぱつ)屋(や)さん.

美容院(びよういん) is a more fancy place that ladies often go. (Of course, gentlemen go too.)

散髪(さんぱつ)屋(や)さん is cheaper than 美容院(びよういん) and has simple menu. (Only cuts and shaves.)

You can say this when you say “who” cut your hair.

お母(かあ)さんに髪(かみ)を切(き)ってもらった。
I had my haircut by my mother.

美容師(びようし)に髪(かみ)を切(き)ってもらった。
I had my haircut by a hairstylist.

友達(ともだち)に髪(かみ)を切(き)ってもらった。
I had my haircut by my friend.

A：誰(だれ)に髪(かみ)を切(き)ってもらったの？
B：お母(かあ)さんに切(き)ってもらったよ。
A：似合(にあ)ってないよ。。。

A：Who cut your hair?
B：My mom did.
A：It does not look good on you…

A：インスタで有名(ゆうめい)な美容師(びようし)に髪(かみ)を切(き)ってもらった！
B：すごく似合(にあ)ってるよ！

A：I had my haircut by a famous hairstylist on Instagram.
B：It looks perfect on you!

A：彼女(かのじょ)に髪(かみ)を切(き)ってもらいました。
B：幸(しあわ)せですね。

A：I had my haircut by my girlfriend.
B：You must be happy.

・髪(かみ)を切(き)りました = I had my haircut
・~に髪(かみ)を切(き)ってもらった = I got my haircut by ~

髪(かみ)を切(き)りました is an active voice, so it sounds like “I cut my hair.”
But, it means “I had my haircut.”
